How to Avoid Teams Invitations via Outlook Calendar Invite
1. In Outlook, go to ‘File’ and the from the drop-down menu on the left, Select ‘Options.’
2. A pop-up window will appear. Select ‘Calendar’ from the list of options on the left.
3. Make sure under the ‘Calendar options’ header, that the tick box for ‘Add online meetings to all meetings' is unticked.
Note: If this setting stays off, the only way to start a meeting with a Teams invite is to tick the box or set up a meeting within the Teams app.
